There were a handful of curious artist IDs among the dozens that occupied one of the cartridge racks in the KJHK studios. Unsolicited IDs appeared occasionally in the mail from record companies working from massive lists of American "rock" stations. I don't know for certain, but I suspect that may explain this message from KISS guitarist Ace Frehley. If anyone reading this has additional information, send it my way. It was a goof to hear old Ace tout the station even though we didn't play his band. Good for a jaded chuckle among the faithful. I wondered if it was fake. I've since heard interviews with Space Ace and I think they captured the real man.
